I was born and raised in Ann Arbor MI. and received my BFA from Eastern Michigan University.
Shortly after I was inspired to pursue freestyle footbag, a beautiful and unusual dance discipline.  Over the years I have performed in many of the States and other countries and earned 9 world championship titles. Aside from these travels and my flight attendant responsibilities, I’ve managed to keep the visual arts as a part of my vital daily experience. My clay sculptures are personified with movement. Not only are they influenced by my history with dance, but many of them are made in motion as I often travel with my “studio suitcase”.
I’ve enjoyed various opportunities to teach both freestyle and ceramic sculpture. My work is featured in a number of publications, including four of the “500” series by Lark Books, three different volumes of  “American Art Collectors” by Alcove Books, “Best of America; Pottery and Woodwork”, a Kennedy Promotion, and “Teapots Today” a Schiffer Publication.
